Updates from the Children's Ministry.

  1. Parent/Child Class & Dedications coming in October

    Dear Parents of Hope,

Our next Parent/Child Dedication class is Wednesday, October 30 and in it we’ll cover the “why” of child dedications and principles for creating a Christian home. If you want to dedicate a child this fall or simply be encouraged in your parenting journey, please join Pastor Matt Ryniker and Children’s Ministry Director, Hala Tompkins for an evening of encouragement and equipping as you prepare to dedicate the newest member of your family to the Lord Jesus.

Class starts at 6pm and we’ll be done by 7:30. Sign up for the class and childcare by emailing hala.

The Sunday morning dedication service is scheduled for November 10, 2024

  2. HopeKids Classes — What to Expect During the School Year

    Dear Parents,

The HopeKids ministry is happy to be able to provide classes for kids of all ages on Sunday mornings! Here’s what to expect on Sundays during the school year.

When you arrive, a greeter will escort you to the coffee shop. There you will find the HopeKids kiosk and check in station. One of our friendly volunteers will be glad to get your kids registered and checked in for the morning. Once you are checked in, you and your children will be escorted to their appropriate classes.

You can pick up your children from those same classrooms when the service ends.

We look forward to meeting you and your kids this Sunday at Hope Chapel!

  3. Kids Worship Practice on August 31

Calling all young musicians and N2Worship participants.

It’s time to prepare for the fall semester of Kids Worship.

Join Anne Tibbetts for the first Kids Worship practice of the semester. We’ll meet upstairs in the Den at 10am. Bring your instrument (if you can) and your N2Worship binder (if you have one). We’ll provide the coaching and encouragement and fun.

    Contact hala for more information.

  4. HopeKids Childcare Worker Training on September 4

  5. HopeKids Classes — What to Expect During the Summer

    Dear Parents,

The HopeKids ministry is happy to be able to provide classes for kids of all ages on Sunday mornings! Here’s what to expect on Sundays from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

When you arrive, a greeter will escort you to the coffee shop. There you will find the HopeKids kiosk and check in station. One of our friendly volunteers will be glad to get your kids registered and checked in for the morning. After this, you and your children will return to the sanctuary and worship together.

At the end of the singing, the children are released to their classes. Feel free to accompany your children to class and then participate in the service. Pick your kids up from their classroom when the service ends.

We look forward to meeting you and your kids this Sunday at Hope Chapel!

  6. Children’s Baptism Classes Coming in May

    Dear Parents,

Two baptism classes (taught by Pastor Matt)  are scheduled for Saturday, May 11 (9:30-11:30am) and Wednesday, May 29 (6 – 7:30pm). If your child has expressed interest in being baptized this year, please plan on attending these classes. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend with their children. Childcare will be provided by contacting Hala.

The baptism service will be on June 9, 2024. This service will be followed by an outdoor water fun day on our playground, as is our custom.

We’ve designed the baptism classes to help parents decide whether or not their children are ready for baptism. If you are unsure about whether or not this is the right year, class number one will help you decide.

Adults who would like to be baptized should simply contact Pastor Matt. He will be happy to talk with you!

Let Hala know if you have any kid-related questions!
